Set up your development environment

This course is hands-on: every lesson is do this → you should see this → here's why. Before starting you need three things from your team lead: a GitHub account added to the org, Snowflake access with the analyst role or higher, and the connection details (account identifier, username, role and warehouse).

Setup is the slowest part of the whole course — and you only ever do it once.
